How does Ipamorelin work?

Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide from the GHRP (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptides) group, and its main task is to stimulate the release of the body’s own growth hormone (GH) by activating specific receptors.

1. Binding to ghrelin receptors (GHS-R1a)

This receptor has two key locations:

In the pituitary gland, the gland that produces growth hormone (GH),

In the hypothalamus, the part of the brain that controls the endocrine system and many homeostatic functions.

GHS-R1a is the same receptor that binds ghrelin, a natural hormone released in the stomach (when we’re hungry). Ghrelin has two key functions:
